New season, new Holland City star surprises with short hair

‘Where is Haaland?’ — The question may have arisen in the minds of many who watched the match between Manchester City and Bournemouth in the English Premier League on Sunday night. Erling Haaland was on the field, but not in a familiar form. The Norwegian star of Manchester City has cut his long, long, golden hair to a very short length.

Before the start of the new season, Haaland posted a picture of his new look on social media. He wrote with the picture, ‘New season, new cut.’ Later, he jokingly wrote with another picture of the different stages of the haircut, ‘Short hair, who said what, what does it matter!’

A few hours later, Haaland appeared at the Etihad Stadium with a new cut. He also warmed up on the field with City’s players before the opening match of the Premier League against Bournemouth.

Haaland, of course, has his own story about his long hair. In an interview with James Corden on Fox Sports last July, he said that he had kept his hair long for so long on the advice of former Swedish star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

According to Haaland, Zlatan told him, "Never cut your hair, because the real strength is hidden in your hair."

In the end, Haaland came out of that advice. However, he could not make his first match with a new look memorable with a goal. This star forward did not see a goal for City against Bournemouth.
