Niti Taylor blocked a director's number after receiving a proposal for a sexual relationship in exchange for a film role.

Indian actress Niti Taylor received a proposition for a sexual encounter in exchange for a role in a film. She claims that the director of her debut Telugu movie made this suggestion while offering her a role in another project. Shocked by the incident, Niti hung up the phone, blocked the director's number, and called her mother to recount the entire event.

Niti recently shared details of this bitter early-career experience in an interview with Hauterfly, though she did not reveal the director's name.

"That was when I decided I wouldn't do films anymore."

In the interview, Niti revealed that after wrapping up her first film, the director called to offer her a role in another movie. She claims that at one point during the conversation, the director made the condition that she engage in a sexual relationship with him.

Recalling the incident, Niti said, "The director of my first film called me about another project after the first one was finished. He said, 'If you want to do this film, you have to have a sexual relationship with me.' You simply don't know how to react. I just hung up the phone. I blocked his number and called my mother."

Niti explained that she was unprepared for such a situation; unable to figure out how to respond, she disconnected the call and cut off contact, subsequently informing her mother.

According to the actress, she had previously seen the director with other women but had never imagined that such a proposition might be directed at her.

Niti said, "I had seen him with other girls, but I didn't know when he might try something like that with me. That was the moment I decided I wouldn't do any more films."

She was so stunned by the incident that she simply blocked the director's number and took no further action. She mentioned in the interview that she did not disclose the matter to anyone else at the time.

Acting in three Telugu films

Niti Taylor made her Telugu film debut in 2012 with the movie *Mem Vayasuku Vacham*. Directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina, the film starred Tanish in the lead role. The film, produced by Bekkam Venugopal, performed well commercially.

Subsequently, in 2013, Niti's second Telugu film, *Pelli Pustakam*, was released. Directed by Ramakrishna Machakanti, the film featured Rahul Ravindran opposite her. However, it failed at the box office and received a negative response from critics.

Her third Telugu film, *Love Dot Com*, was released in 2014. Directed by Raja Vanem Reddy, the film co-starred Arya Sandeep. This movie also failed to achieve commercial success. Niti did not act in Telugu films after this.

Rise to Fame via Television

Niti Taylor began her acting career at the age of 15 with the Hindi serial *Pyaar Ka Bandhan*. However, it was the 2014 show *Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan* that brought her widespread recognition. She later appeared in various television serials, including *Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2*.

Recently, Niti also made headlines for participating in the reality show *Alliance*. She reached the semi-finals of the competition, which was won by Mini Mathur.

Niti's account of being propositioned for sexual favors in exchange for acting opportunities has once again brought to the fore allegations regarding the demand for sexual favors in the entertainment industry. However, as the actress did not disclose the name of the director involved, the interview did not provide sufficient information to independently verify his identity.
