India's Shreyas Iyer has continued his rise in the ICC T20I batting rankings, moving up to a career-best fourth position. The Indian batter entered the top 10 for the first time last week and has now climbed another three places.

Australia's Matt Renshaw made an even bigger move in the Test rankings, jumping 147 places after a sensational performance against South Africa in the Durban Test.

The ICC released its latest weekly update of the men's player rankings on Wednesday. In the T20I batting rankings, India continue to occupy the top two positions, with Ishan Kishan first and Abhishek Sharma second. Pakistan's Sahibzada Farhan remains third after scoring three consecutive half-centuries against Sri Lanka.

Iyer's rise began with a century in the opening T20I against the West Indies. Although he managed only 41 runs across the next two matches, his overall performance was enough to move him into fourth place.

There was another change inside the T20I top 10, with India's Tilak Varma climbing one place to ninth. Sri Lanka's Pathum Nissanka dropped to 10th, while West Indies batter Shai Hope moved up two places to 11th.

Renshaw produced a remarkable performance in the Durban Test against South Africa, scoring 190 and 82 in his two innings. The performance propelled him 147 places up the Test batting rankings to a career-best 49th position.

South Africa's Aiden Markram also moved up four places to 10th. England's Harry Brook remains the top-ranked Test batter, while Australia's Mitchell Starc continues to lead the Test bowling rankings.

Australia's Josh Hazlewood climbed two places to seventh after recording career-best figures of 6-49.

In the T20I bowling rankings, the top four positions are occupied by leg-spinners. Afghanistan's Rashid Khan remains No. 1, followed by Australia's Adam Zampa. England's Adil Rashid and Pakistan's Abrar Ahmed share third place.

Zimbabwe's Sikandar Raza and Pakistan's Saim Ayub remain first and second respectively in the T20I all-rounder rankings, while West Indies' Roston Chase has moved up two places to third. India's Ravindra Jadeja continues to lead the Test all-rounder rankings.
